Steinplatte Waidring is a technically advanced ski area with a variety of modern services to improve the skiing experience. It has 42 kilometers of ski runs, divided into 12 km of easy (blue), 26 km of intermediate (red), and 4 km of tough (black) slopes, making it suitable for skiers of all ability levels. The slopes are serviced by 13 cutting-edge lifts, including chairlifts and gondolas, ensuring efficient transportation and short wait times.

The ski area is located between 1,100 and 1,869 meters above sea level, giving a suitable altitude for continuous snow conditions. An innovative artificial snowmaking system that covers 90% of the slopes improves snow reliability, offering superb skiing conditions even during warmer months.

Steinplatte also has a 1.5-kilometer-long fun park geared for snowboarders and freestyle skiers. This park contains a variety of obstacles such as jumps, rails, and boxes to accommodate trick fans of all skill levels.

There is a separate children’s section with special ski lifts and gentle slopes, and the Steinplatte panorama platform provides non-skiers with a breathtaking 360-degree view of the surrounding Alps. Winter hiking routes and cross-country skiing pathways complement alpine skiing, expanding the spectrum of outdoor activities.

The area is easily accessible from the village of Waidring and has plenty of parking for visitors, making Steinplatte a highly efficient and well-equipped ski resort.
